FAP is currently planning a prototype of a GREEN farm academy, a small village where adult children/young adults with autism will live, learn, work, and thrive, when their parents can no longer care for them. It will be a cutting edge teaching facility using natured base education, located near a surrounding community.

FAP seeks for our children a life of quality and have access to all aspects of the community, including employment and leisure.

Today, FAP’s most important project is to build a prototype GREEN FARM ACADEMY, a cutting-edge teaching
facility, small viliage campus, where adult children over 21 with autism will live, enjoy nature based education,
learn a variety of skills; for example, self-help, arts, crafts, food preparation, animal care and office, farm
and academic skills.

Their autism specific programs on the Farm Academy will include speech/communication, sensory integration, and animal assisted therapy sessions with horses and dogs. The Farm Academy will help these children on their journey to become an integral part of society as they increase their independence.

FAP aims to build the prototype of a GREEN Farm Academy with sustainable farming and living methods. We will preserve open space, use rescue animals in the animal assisted therapy programs, and act to leave the smallest carbon-footprint possible.
