Friends of Silver Springs State Park

We are a Citizen Support Organization developed for the exclusive purpose of supporting, enhancing and assisting Silver Springs State Park.

Friends of Silver Springs State Park are people and businesses that care about the quality of life in the Ocala/Marion County area. We are people with diverse interests, but a common thread - we care about the natural resource we have available in Silver River State Park. We are bike riders, boaters, equestrians, campers, dog walkers, photographers, hikers, birders, nature enthusiasts, parents and grandparents, schoolchildren, volunteers and business owners. What brings us together is the beauty, recreational value, and the expansive ecological variety of our park.

Membership benefits include: membership card, attendance at special events and volunteer appreciation days, free entry to park on 1st Saturday of the month, meaningful involvement in the betterment of Silver Springs State Park.
