Historic Smithville Mansion was the home of Industrialist Hezekiah and his wife Agnes Smith. Smithville was a model industrial village in the 1800's.
The Smithville Mansion Complex is open for public tours from May through October on Wednesdays and Sundays, and for three weeks in December for the Victorian Christmas when the rooms are decorated by local garden clubs and other interested groups. Tours are given by Friend of the Mansion docents. These tours include a history exhibit orientation with photographic panels, the mansion, annex rooms and courtyard gardens. Walk-in or reservations are accepted during the tour season.
