Ganache Patisserie & Café by nicol opened since August 2012 with the goal of changing the dessert culture in L.A. Our food is based off of the French fine dining restaurant culture. We serve fine desserts, molecular dishes, and European entrées. In addition, we have our specialty drinks including espresso, mocktail, and European tea. We can also make custom cakes such as wedding cakes and 3-D design cakes. High end desserts are not only served at hotels or fine dining restaurants, you can now find it down the street.
For over 10 years our executive pastry chefs Nicolas M. and Kris Y. worked at Hong Kong 5-star hotels such as Grand Hyatt, Island Shangri-La, InterContinental, The Peninsula, The Mira, and Mandarin Oriental. After many years of working at 5-star hotels and gaining experience through international competitions, they are now creating fine desserts and showing their highest techniques through the food they create.
Since 2004, Nicolas and Kris have represented Hong Kong Chef’s team and have had the chance to attend many different countries such as France, Australia, Singapore, Thailand and Hong Kong SAR, and many more. They have won many awards for their creativity in sugar arts, wedding cakes, French entrées, chocolate showpiece and live pastries.
