What should I expect at Golden Corner Church?

We know it isn't easy visiting a church for the first time, so we would like to help put your mind at ease about visiting Golden Corner, before you even get here, by sharing with you a little about what to expect when you come!

The first thing we want you to know is that we will be so GLAD to have you! You are the reason we do what we do at Golden Corner Church! We WANT you to come! We also want you to know that we are concerned about you, not what you wear, so please dress casually- you will fit right in!

From the moment you arrive at Golden Corner Church you will be greeted by helpful, friendly people, with smiling faces. We are here to serve you! So, whether you’re looking for the nursery or children's ministry, the auditorium or the restrooms, there will be Guest Services volunteers to assist you with whatever you need.
Once our worship service gets started, you will enjoy uplifting and encouraging contemporary worship music, led by a live band, and practical Bible teaching that is scriptural and relevant to everyday life. Our passion is that what you learn at church on Sunday, you’ll be able to use in your life on Monday!

Please don't feel obligated to participate in the offering. Our offering is for those who have already decided to make Golden Corner their home church. Instead of wanting you to give something, we want you to get something!

We also want you to know that you will never feel pressured to make a decision you're not ready to make, or do something you're not ready to do. Golden Corner Church is a safe place to start, or restart, your spiritual journey with God. It is our desire that you will eventually settle in and become a part of the Golden Corner family, so we can make our spiritual journey together!

What about our kids?

If you have children, we want you to know that your kids will have a blast in GCC Kids! Our children's ministry is created with your kids in mind! We have exciting and creative environments, designed to be fun and capture your child’s imagination. Awesome volunteers use innovative teaching methods that get kids actively involved in what they’re learning. Also, GCC Kids is a wonderful place for your children to develop encouraging friendships with other kids their age.
We know your child’s safety is of utmost importance to you, and we share that concern. Every children's volunteer at our church is screened with an interview and a federal background check. We go to great lengths to ensure that GCC Kids is a safe and enjoyable experience for you and your kids.
We want the first two questions you ask your kids when you leave to be,
"Did you have fun?" and "What did you learn?" Every week we ask ourselves those same questions! “Did kids have fun today?” and "Did they learn about Jesus?" We want kids to love coming to church and love learning about God. Our environments and teaching methods are all created to help your children have a great time, understand the Bible, and apply it’s teaching to their life.

Our purpose is simple at Golden Corner Church. We exist to help others find and follow Christ. But that's not just talk. Our passion is for that to come through loud and clear in your experience at Golden Corner Church!
