Great Vallejo Race - (707) 643-1254

One of the largest Inland water sailboat races in the West. The Party is not to be missed!

Since 1900, SF Bay Area yachtsmen have been cruising and racing to Vallejo Yacht Club. Each year the club sponsors a 2 day race and party. During the first weekend in May each year, the racers begin near Richmond, CA and race predominately downwind to Vallejo where they are greeted. They are then rafted together like sardines in the VYC harbor. The Party then begins! 1200+ sailors, Live music, Lots of food and Drink. On Sunday morning, they are given breakfast and Bloody Mary's for the hang-over's. Once they get their balance back, they return to the boats, break the raft-up, and proceed to the starting line for the race home.
