Harlem Valley Psychiatric Center is an abandoned mental institution, in the south of the hamlet of Wingdale in the Town of Dover. Operated- 1924-1994.
Was for the criminally insane! It was also used for human experimentation.
Its has about 15 main buildings, and a few electricity/oil/shipping buildings. There was one massive building in the back of the place, with
morgues, recreation such as, basketball and bowling, and a cafeteria and auditorium and stage. There are also underground tunnels going to almost every other building. It is now forbidden to trespass the property,
if so, you will be prosecuted. Now there is a caretaker that protects the area every now and then.
