Hopsewee Plantation was built between 1735 and 1740 on the banks of the North Santee River and is the birthplace of Thomas Lynch, Jr., a SC signer of the Declaration of Independence. Tour the Plantation House from Attic to Cellar. Open Tuesday - Saturday
