Immunotrex Biologics is an emerging medical technology company committed to the development of innovative diagnostic and therapeutic products that satisfy key unmet needs in medicine. The company is a Massachusetts S Corporation based out of the M2D2 Incubator Labs in Lowell, MA. Immunotrex has a pipeline of three major products in development: a proprietary automated diagnostic device for the rapid identification of infectious disease, as well as two therapeutic agents aimed at the treatment of sepsis and chronic lymphocytic leukemia, respectively. Mosaic 545™, the diagnostic device, is an automated point-of-care (POC) instrumentation for the rapid identification of pathogenic bacteria and viruses using DNA-RNA hybridization in the hospital or diagnostic laboratory setting. Kdeon™, the company’s therapeutic for septic shock, is a family of small peptides that block the injurious effects of lipopolysaccaride, a component of bacterial cell walls. Tranosyl™ is a bacteriophage-based therapeutic designed to locate and terminate the cancer cells that cause chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).
