A family-friendly campground under development in Nevada City, CA
Nevada City, CA – Dan and Erin Thiem, owners of the Outside Inn, have been approved to build a serviced campground in downtown Nevada City.
The Inn Town Campground will offer a range of family-friendly camping options including pitch-your-own tent sites, RV spaces with full hook ups and glamping tents (canvas tents, complete with electricity, a real bed and linens!). Nestled in the heart of the 15 acre property’s towering pine forest will be a communal building full of comfortable amenities like a camp store, kitchen, laundry, T.V. and reading nooks, swimming pool and BBQ area.
Located next to the Nevada County Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum, off the Gold Flat Exit in Nevada City, the campground is only 2 miles from downtown Nevada City.
“We are community minded people and want to create both a new business for our family, and also a new icon for Nevada City,” says Dan Thiem, President of Inn Town Campground. “We want to build a unique and friendly retreat in the Gold Country.”
Currently under development and hoping to open summer of 2016.
