The International Cultural Center (ICC) envisions a world where diverse communities are better understood, accepted and respected by all people.

ICC believes that focusing on the cross-cultural experience will build stronger communities that will not succumb to discrimination, isolation and fear. Experiencing one another’s traditions and discovering what unites humanity will inevitably decrease our hostility towards one another and promote social solidarity. We also believe that including the spiritual dimension of our existence into the framework of collaboration will add to the richness of our bonds of friendship.

The ICC champions ideals of pluralism based on mutual respect and harmonious co-existence. We are a dynamic platform for communities to explore and appreciate varied beliefs and philosophies. Through compassion, critical thinking, knowledge and reason, we strengthen bonds of social cohesion.

The ICC engages diverse communities through a wide spectrum of cultural, intellectual and spiritual endeavors including:
• Programs showcasing arts, music, poetry and religious celebrations around the world to foster an appreciation and develop awareness of different cultures,
• Civic engagement initiatives that teach the hallmarks of democracy such as community service, grassroots organizing, political campaigning, and media outreach,
• Inter-communities dialogue to forge social unity and instill conflict management skills, and
• Spiritual and contemplative workshops that maximize personal well-being and professional growth—taking the holistic approach to the human experience.
