Josh entered the construction trade after receiving an honorable discharge from the US Navy. He began work as a carpenter’s assistant and learned the trade quickly. He started Josh Wynne Construction in 1998 as a carpentry contractor, and the company grew. In 2000, Josh successfully passed the Florida Certified General Contractor’s Exam receiving his class ‘A’ license. While maintaining the carpentry division, the company grew to include remodels, additions, light commercial, and new construction homes.

Josh’s hands-on experience has earned him a rarely seen respect from his subcontractors. This hands-on experience also contributes to his ability to provide exceptional attention to detail throughout the construction process.

Josh is a Sarasota native. He has been happily married since 1998 to his wife Michelle. They have three children. Michelle is the owner of The Payroll Solution and is the officer manager at Josh Wynne Construction.
