Description

K9 Fit Club is growing a nationwide community of clubs dedicated to the health, fitness and wellness of dogs and people.

K9 Fit Club is the nation's first indoor fitness facility combining fitness with friendship of man’s (and woman's!) best friend – their dog. By blending the motivational support of a dog with fitness goals for both person and pooch, a change in mental attitude occurs and improved wellness and health benefits are the result. K9 Fit Club members enjoy great workouts, games and challenges with nutrition and fitness, which lead to weight loss, improved health and having fun with your dog.

K9 Fit Club offers group and individual instruction, both indoors and outdoors, using proprietary programs including; Oh My Dog Bootcamp™, “Bow Wow Bootcamp™, Pupilates™, Tai Chi Wa Wa™ and Fungility™. K9 Fit Club’s headquarters and training facility are located in Hinsdale, IL where on staff and consult we have Veterinarians, Doctors, Certified Animal Behaviorists, People and Pup Personal Trainers passionate about developing human/animal bonding programs.

K9 Fit Club’s programs are customized to individual fitness and goals of both dog and owner. Each pup and person undergoes an assessment and evaluation that includes; Cardiovascular Endurance, Muscular Endurance, Obedience & Nutritional Assessment, Behavior and Activity Analysis and more. K9 Fit Club’s specialty programs include, Downs Syndrome, Deaf, Spinal Bifida and Breast Cancer Survivors.

Why K9 Fit Club?

Both man and man's best friend are battling one of man’s worst enemies -- obesity. With over 58 million people in the US being overweight (40 million obese, 3 million morbidly obese), their canine companions are weighing in too, with over 50% of the 78.2 millions dogs tipping the scale alongside. Like people, overweight dogs are at risk for health problems, from arthritis to heart disease. This is one challenge you and your pet can face together. Research suggests people who exercise with their dogs are more likely to stick to a fitness program.
