The Cafe hours are 11:30 am to 2:30 pm for lunch and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm for dinner Tuesday through Saturday. We are closed on Sundays and Mondays.

CSA Program (Community Supported Agriculture)

For $25.00 a week you receive a weekly box of 12 -15 different kinds of seasonal organic produce grown at our farm. Our fresh, organic vegetables, herbs and fruits are sold on a subscription basis. We request payment prior to the first Saturday of each month for that month’s box of vegetables. Boxes can be picked up on Saturdays between 10:00 -2:00 pm. By joining our CSA program you’ll be making a commitment to helping our non-profit 501© (3).

To enroll, you can visit our farm or café and drop off a check or call our office @ 696-2655. You will need to bring your own box, cooler, plastic bin or recycle bag to carry your vegetables home.

Waiane Farmer's Market: Located behind the pizza hut at the Waianae Mall
9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Join us each Thursday at Makeke Kapolei to buy fresh organic produce. The market is held at the Kapolei High School.
3:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

We also attend the Kailua Farmers Market that is held every thursday from 5:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. The market is held in the Kailua shopping mall parking lot.

Kahumana Organic Farm & Cafe is a part of a large 501(c)3 Non-profit Organization that not only provides healthy organic food to our local community but also serves our greater mission of social work. We work with homeless families who go through a two year transitional housing program, have a day program for people with developed disabilities, and educate the youth about organic farming practices.

Our farm is nestled in the back of Lualualei Valley in beautiful Waianae. Kahumana Community was founded in 1974, in Makiki and moved out to Waianae in 1978. We have been using organic practices to provide the local community with fresh nutritious produce ever since. The farm is about 7 acres including a small fruit orchard, a large chicken coop, and our production fields.

Kahumana Cafe is located directly on-site and you can enjoy a farm fresh meal while overlooking the farm. After finishing lunch, you can take a leisurely stroll around the farm and see where the vegetable you just ate were grown! We serve daily specials along with a set menu that you can always order from. We have a steady supply of the freshest fish including Ahi, Ono, and Mahimahi. If you are lucky, we might be serving some of our own fresh aquaponically grown Tilapia.

Our freshly made salads are a favorite but nothing beats our delicious house desserts. Our two signature desserts are a lilikoi cheese cake and a dark chocolate brownie. You can accompany any of our baked goods with some locally made gelato. Don't forget to ask if there are any special dessert options!
