Roswell became a Keep America Beautiful affiliated community in August of 1987
Keep Roswell Beautiful (KRB) is a program of the City of Roswell and functions under the state organization, New Mexico Clean & Beautiful, which is a segment of the NM Tourism Department. KRB is a national affiliate of Keep America Beautiful.
KRB's objectives are to educate and involve the community with programs such as Litter Free Events, Graffiti Wipe Out, Monthly Beautification Awards, Arbor Day, Earth Day Outdoor Classroom and Summer Earth Camp for kids, Clean Campus Club, Teens Go Green, Great American Cleanup, Toss No Mas Days, Waste in Place Teacher Training and the Miss Roswell/Miss Chaves County/Miss ENMU-R Scholarship Pageant.
