Kung Jung Mu Sul translated into English means Korean Royal Court Martial Arts and is the dominate of the three original root systems of the ancient Kingdoms of Korea—the other two being Buldo Mu Sul – Buddhist Martial Arts and Sado Mu Sul – Tribal Martial Arts. From these three sprang forth thirty-one official martial art systems recognized by the government of Korea as Korea’s base systems. Today there are many different variations from the thirty-one systems.
