This is a small town coffee shop/café that brings a taste of fine coffee products to Rushville, IL. Kurf's Café opened in Sept. of 2014.

First of all thank you so much for checking out the Kurf's Cafe Facebook page!!! My name is David Kurfman and bringing a coffee shop to our community has been a goal of mine for sometime. I'm a person of faith in God and I believe in the real influence of POSITIVITY in one's life! For a person who experienced depression, anxiety, and suffered several trials in my life I can say there is a way out. It takes time but there can be light at the end of the tunnel for everyone! Anyways, back to the coffee, we feature Coda Coffee as our roaster. Coda is a Coffee Company from Denver, CO. We're proud to be able to say Coda was named Roast magazine's Roaster of the Year for 2014! We also feature Two Leaves Tea Co. We have a mixture of brands for Frappe including Coda and Big Train. Smoothie mixes we use Jet as a base but can include some of your favorite fruits! I grew up watching Friends on T.V. and loved the feel of a big city coffee shop just like Central Perk on the show. I always wanted to have an upscale coffee shop but with an atmosphere that featured real baristas and in environment that had the casual setting of T.V.s, couches, bistro seating, living room seating, and kitchen table seating all in one! A little something for everyone including a kids corner! You can pretty much find anything a big city coffee shop offers right here on the corner of the square next to Kerr Hardware!
