Bridging the Gap is a mentoring program designed to build a culture to promote and support lifelong healthy habits for success. Shaker Library June 12, 5-7
Ladies for Change/Bridging the Gap is a group of professional women that are volunteering their time to help bridge the Gap for our female young adults in the greater Cleveland area.
Ladies for Change/Bridging the Gap is a mentoring program designed to build a culture to promote and support lifelong healthy habits for success. We are supported by a number of successful women from various professions including judges, probation officers, business owners, counselors, and others who are willing to volunteer and share their experiences and knowledge.
We are planning to have sessions once a week at the Shaker Heights Library from 5-7pm.
Ladies for Change/Bridging the Gap will address multiple topics that young adult females are facing in today’s society. We will address the importance of education, domestic violence, human trafficking, the law and me, employment exploration options, job college preparation, self-respect and etiquette, relationships, financial literacy as well as mental, physical, and emotional health.
We need volunteers to share the experience and knowledge for one or more of our topics, as well as your in-kind donation of any one or more of the options listed would be greatly appreciated We are trying to supply incentive giveaways for the participants. We feel that this will engage and motivate the youth to participate in the program. To make your contribution more visible we are pleased to recognize your company in our online Blog as well as our end of the year newsletter highlighting your positive business practices.
Your consideration is very much appreciated. Should you have any questions, please feel free to call me directly at 216-698-7599 office, or 216-326-5776 cell.
Sincerely,
