To keep our local community as well as friends around the world posted what is happening at Lanakila Baptist Church.
Over 45 years ago God lead a man named Robert Knutson to come to the Island of Oahu a start a ministry in the town of Waipahu. He, along with the early members chose the name "Lanakila" for the church. Lanakila means "victory" in the Hawaiian language. What a perfect name. Christ came to earth, died on a cross and rose from the grave. Whosoever will call upon him will be saved and becomes victorious over penalty of sin.
