Here at Lemonhead Hockey Club, we pride ourselves with our work ethic, our willingness to win games, and our outrageously filthy cellys. Founded by Captain Jumbo Joe Garapolo in 2008, the Lemonheads were originally an inline hockey team. After perfecting the roller game, Garapolo along with many of the original players decided the team would bring its talents to the ice. In their inaugural season on ice under the new title of Lemonhead HC, the team skated to a 10-2 regular season record before breezing through the semis and defeating the rival Slumpbusters in Finals to capture their first GAHL Championship. LemonheadHC looks to pick up where it left off in the 2012-2013 season, returning the core of the Championship team, one hungry for victories and the sick cellies that follow. Lemonhead Hockey Club is an elite level mens league team, comprised of many of the top young talents around the Chicagoland area. Lemonhead Hockey Club looks to move its players on to higher levels of hockey while systematically dismantling the teams of the GAHL with hardwork, skill, and class. The Lemonheads are entertainers on and off the ice.
