Our goal is to teach you the technical aspects of digital photography and make you a better and well-organized photographer so that you can focus more on your artistic and creative vision.

Light Workshops specializes in taking those willing to take the next step in their digital skills and passions. We are a small, family owned school run and operated by serious and passionate photographers and artists here on the central coast of California. We have been trained by the best digital photographers and artists in the world.
Hand-picked and well researched, our instructors who teach here need to have patience, passion and a desire to help improve our students skills.They must have a good background for not only making a nice photograph, but an effective and professional teaching manner. It isn't about someones portfolio in the teaching industry. It is about connecting with our students and teaching them what they need to learn to take their skills to the next level.

We have sponsorship through Canon so you can borrow lens and try out camera bodies to see what the best fit for your photography goals are. Though we are not biased in camera brands either. If you need to improve your skills on brands like Nikon and Sony, we have the expertise and knowledge to direct and educate you every step of the way.
We primarily offer travel workshops and seminars and offer private tutoring sessions when we have an open schedule to do so.
