Linwood Cemetery

Linwood Cemetery is Glenwood's pioneer cemetery and the final resting place of John Henry "Doc" Holliday. Established in 1886, Linwood sits on a hill overlooking the town of Glenwood Springs.

The trailhead to Linwood Cemetery is located at 12th and Bennett in Glenwood Springs. It is a moderately strenuous 1/3 mile hike up to the cemetery itself. this historic cemetery contains the graves of many of the pioneers of our community, including Doc Holliday and Kid Curry. Pick up a walking tour guide at the Frontier Historical Museum in town. Guides are also available in the cemetery during warm weather months. Please leave a donation in the box.
