501c3 Not for Profit Organization that follows the National Trust's Main Street Guidelines. We oversee the Downtown TIF and TIF District One.
The borders of the downtown are subjective, the soft borders are Elizabeth to Grace and Grove to Washington. The four points of the Main Street Program are the pillars that we build our committees on: Economic Restructuring; Promotions; Design; and Organization. In normal language we are in charge of bringing and keeping businesses in the Downtown; holding events and promoting our businesses; keeping what's historical - historical and making it all look pretty; Fundraising, Membership and Sponsorships. We do all this with the help of volunteers, our business owners, property owners, residents and one part-time employee.
The office is open by appointment outside of normal posted hours.
