Loops Homemade Donuts is the newest addition to “The Loop” at Wrightsville Beach. Located next to the famous landmark of Roberts Grocery, Loops will be owned and operated by Wilmington natives Colby & Dylan Domnick. The two brothers have grown up in Wilmington and love surfing year around. Colby attended East Carolina University. Dylan attended UNCW as a marketing major, however both brothers now have their sights set on adding a “sweet” taste to the loop for both locals and visitors.

Loops Homemade Donuts is a traditional donut shop with an innovative and fun twist. The menu will have a variety of donuts and will always boast the classic, hot “beach-glazed” donut. However, the wave of excitement comes from the endless combination of unique toppings, alternative glazes, and variety of batters. Donuts such as the strawberry cheesecake, salted caramel, maple-bacon, blueberry cobbler, red-velvet cake, and mocha-amaretto crunch, along with many other flavors, are sure to keep the menu exciting for customers.

Loops Homemade Donuts will also offer a very fine, high-grade coffee. Only locally, freshly roasted beans will be used in a premium espresso machine. All coffee is also ensured to be 100% Organic and Free Trade Certified. The coffee menu will also have many options such as lattes, mochas, and frappes for all the coffee lovers of the island. Real-fruit smoothies will also be available for those hot summer days.

The Domnick brothers are happy to have the opportunity of bringing Loop’s Donuts to the Wrightsville Beach community and owning a business that can bring people joy and provide memories for years to come. Loop’s Donuts will also be active in the community, with plans of starting a Loops Donuts Surf Team as well as possible paddleboard races and 5K’s.

Although the hours are subject to change, Loops Donuts will be open around 7AM and remain open into the late afternoon seven days a week. On weekends Loops Donuts plans open late night to serve the busy nightlife of Wrightsville Beach or anyone who needs to satisfy their sweet tooth!
