Thanks for stopping by! My name is Lynn Jordan and I live on the beautiful Alabama Gulf Coast with my husband, Mike, and our cat Riley. When Mike gave me a camera a few of years ago, I discovered that I have a passion for photography - to capture images that might otherwise go unnoticed and be lost forever. Lower Alabama, or LA as it is called down here, has so many diverse photographic opportunities; from the beaches, bays and rivers to the small towns and farms that I remember from my childhood growing up in Central Alabama. I have fallen in love with the Bon Secour River and its surrounding community. This area has a deep tradition in the Alabama Shrimping and Fishing Industry, and I have come to specialize in images of the local shrimp boats. It has become my mission through my photography to support our local shrimping families by reminding people to purchase Alabama Gulf Seafood. I also try to promote the area, which relies so heavily on the tourist industry, by sharing its beauty with others through my photos.
