We are a makerspace, dedicated to provide resources and knowledge for technological experimentation,
idea prototyping, crafting, learning, and creating.
About us - Maker Depot is a 6,000+ square-foot, member-based workshop designed for small businesses, entrepreneurs, tradespeople, skilled workers, artists, makers, hobbyists,
DIYers and students. Our makerspace includes machinery, hand tools, computers,
and computer peripherals not readily available to individuals due to cost and space.
Our goal is to provide resources and knowledge for technological experimentation, idea prototyping, crafting, learning, and creating in a community environment where the only limit is your imagination.
Who we are - The idea for Make Depot began with Michael and Frank while attending Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), where they lived in a special interest house for Computer Science students. Always enthusiastic about writing computer programs and building with LEGO® bricks, they decided to bring this love of building and technology together with their families and friends to create an affordable space for everyone to meet,
learn, invent and just have fun.
Take a tour - We’d love for you to come by and allow us to show you around. The tour takes about 20 minutes. We think our space is a great place for small groups too. To schedule a
group tour for businesses, students, scout troops or clubs please email us at
