A PLAINTIFF'S INJURY LAW FIRM
OFFICES IN SOUTH PASADENA, LONG BEACH, WEST COVINA AND WEST HOLLYWOOD
Recognized as one of the premier injury litigation firms in Southern California with offices in South Pasadena, West Hollywood and West Covina, the MANIBOG LAW, PC story actually begins over 100 years ago, when a university student in the Philippines, Gonzalo Manibog, accepted an invitation from the U.S. government to continue his university studies in America. Six year later, in 1917, he received his law degree from the University of Indianapolis, becoming the first Filipino to receive a law degree in the United States. Gonzalo practiced law in Hawaii, representing neighbors, friends and local families. His son, Monty Manibog, followed in his footsteps, becoming a lawyer in 1961. A trailblazer in his own right, Monty was one of the first attorneys of Filipino descent to practice law in California and later was elected as Mayor of the City of Monterey Park. Monty still actively practices law.
The Manibog legacy in the law continues at MANIBOG LAW, PC led by Darren A. Manibog (Monty's son and Gonzalo's grandson), a 1996 graduate from the UC Berkeley School of Law. As a third-generation lawyer, Darren witnessed from an early age the impact that the law can have on people's lives, and developed an abiding passion to carry on his grandfather's and father's commitment to service in the law. Today, MANIBOG LAW, PC is at the forefront of injury litigation, successfully handling everything from small accident cases to complex, multi-million dollar catastrophic injury cases.
A third-generation lawyer, Darren Manibog is the lead litigator and owner of Manibog Law PC, a plaintiff's personal injury law firm which handles catastrophic injury litigation. Mr. Manibog has successfully represented thousands of clients in major injury cases, including numerous civil trials, arbitrations, mediations and settlements. Mr. Manibog was named a 2012 Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers magazine as well as a 2011 "Top Attorney" by Pasadena Magazine, and was elected to the elite Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a nationwide honor awarded to less than 2% of lawyers across the nation. Mr. Manibog received Bachelors of Arts degrees, magna cum laude, in International Relations and Political Science from the University of Southern California, where he was a member of the Student Senate. He received his law degree from the University of California Berkeley School of Law.
