Marcus Whitman Junior High School was built in 1979. The 102,405 square foot building is located on a 16.32 acre site. Eight portable classrooms are currently in use.
We at Marcus Whitman Junior High believe in the power of “together”. Together is the key word in our mission statement and it is truly the focus of our school. When our students, staff, and community are together there is truly a force that can accomplish anything. Building positive relationships with our students, staff, and community allows us to maintain this focus and aspire to achieving our goals in our school improvement plan. By focusing on remaining together and building positive relationships, hope providse all of our students with the opportunity to reach their full potential. Through forging a partnership with our students, parents, and community, we can more effectively prepare our students for a successful future in today’s challenging world. We want the parents of our students and our community to feel welcome at this school. Together, we can help children to achieve greatness.
