Marrero Apiaries was founded in 2013 with the vision of providing small batch raw unfiltered natural honey, using only natural and green products on and around our bees.
Joseph Marrero started Marrero Apiaries with a dream of creating a natural and hearty environment for Bees as well as provide a wonderful product that is natural and raw straight from the hive, A true taste of nature. After taking the time to learn about bees and a few classes he started his next step buying hives. He started with only 2 hives and has expanded into 11 personal hives. Joseph keeps bees with his friend Dax who has hives of his own and also hold the ideals of producing a raw product. Joseph and Dax work hard to produce a unique product for your table.
Marrero Apiaries has its hives in 2 locations in Utah and is looking to expand to 3 additional locations across the Wasatch front. Our bees are of the family carnelian and Italian.
Our hives produce two forms of honey even though our hives are only 2 miles from each other one yard produces a wonderful vanilla flavor and the other has a great flowery after taste.
