Our mission is to provide relief to needy families within Meade County, KY with Christmas gift assistance and school supplies.
The mission of the Meade County Angel Ministry is to serve our community with a grateful heart. To show kindness and compassion while we offer hope for a better tomorrow. While we realize that what we offer is just "stuff", we know that this relief can mean the world to the families we serve. That a haircut, personal hygiene items, a new outfit, coat or shoes and yes, even a cherished toy can make all the difference in the world to one's self esteem. Which can lead to better focus at school and an overall positive influence in one's daily activities.
So many of today's donors were yesterday's recipients. Our goal is to break the cycle of poverty by offering hope. We all enter into a "season of need" and we assist our families with dignity and respect. And, we “Do everything in love.”(1 Corinthians 16:14) to build a happier tomorrow one smile at a time.
