The purpose of the Meade County Youth Soccer Alliance ("MCYSA") is to provide and support positive soccer playing opportunities and experiences for the families of Meade County.
The program promotes the idea of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty and courage through organized athletic competition. The MCYSA's goal is to keep the soccer program exciting and concentrate on developing skills, teaching the game rules, cultivating team spirit, instilling respect for the officials, and preparing our players for the next level.
During both the fall and the spring, MCYSA provides recreational soccer programs for children ages 3 through 16, and intermediate select programs for U-11 mixed and also U-12 mixed.
MCYSA is operated by volunteers and funded solely by income generated by player registration fees, concession sales, donations and sponsorships. MCYSA is a member of the Kentucky Youth Soccer Association and the United States Youth Soccer Association.
