Medicus Christi, Ltd. is a non-profit organization established to bring much needed medical care and training to impoverished, underserved people of the Developing World.
Medicus Christi is not a religious organization. We are working in established Catholic Hospitals through the generosity of the Church's Health Care System to provide previously unavailable services to the poor.
Our first Project is an Orthopedic Center Hospital. Ghana, a country of 24 million people, has only 12 trained Orthopedic Surgeons! Injuries that we in the West find relatively easy to treat and cure often become crippling or even life threatening in most of West Africa.
