Megan Milliken graduated with honors from Campbell University School of Law in 2009. While in law school, Megan was a member of the Law Review, the intramural moot court team, Christian Legal Society, and Women in Law.

In 2007, Megan was accepted by Oxford University in Oxford, England and became the first student in the history of Campbell University to study at Oxford, where she was tutored under the esteemed Oxford don of criminal law, Stephen Shute.

After graduation, Megan moved to Charlotte, North Carolina where she practiced business and civil law, focusing primarily on employment and healthcare law.

Over the last few years, Megan served as an Assistant District Attorney in the 13th Judicial District of North Carolina (Brunswick, Columbus, and Bladen Counties) where she prosecuted hundreds of misdemeanors and felonies.

Megan has deep family roots in this area and is proud to call this beautiful coastal community home. Megan lives with her partner, her goldendoodle, and her two cats.
