Miss Winnemucca High Desert Jr Rodeo Queen 2014, Trynity Reid, believes Queens are an important part in promoting everything the rodeo offers.
Being a Rodeo Queen (on any level), isn't just about looking pretty, and holding gates, flags and shaking the hands of people. Queens are ambassadors to promote the wholesomeness & lifestyle & values that rodeo represents...country life, honesty, helping one another, sincerity, humility. Being a Queen is a very important, and fun job to be honored with. One in which is not just handed to any young lady. Each Queen must be knowledgeable in everything rodeo, as well as be humble and of course, presentable. She must also have good horsemanship, as a Queen would not be complete, without her horse.
