Austin’s newest hunter/jumper boarding and training facility, Monarch Stables offers a fresh approach to hunter/jumper training and instruction for all levels of riders. Monarch’s facility is a 56 acre equine oasis located only 13 miles from downtown Austin. Grassy rolling hills slope to tree-lined Onion Creek affording opportunities to trail ride, stroll with a friend, or even catch a fish on a quiet afternoon. Horses enjoy daily turnout, a customized training program, memory foam stall mattresses, and regular rides in the large outdoor arena and riding field. Monarch Stables invites your family to come and enjoy the amenities.

Monarch Stables trainers Kalli Smith and Senja Stevig work together to provide a coordinated training program for each horse and rider. Both trainers emphasize the importance of correct flat work in developing finished show horses and skillful child and adult riders. Each brings years of experience and her own style to teaching horsemanship and hunt seat equitation skills to all levels and ages of riders.
