Monmouth County Crime Stoppers launched on August 6, 2013 in conjunction with National Night Out. Our goal is to promote the welfare of the community and to lessen the burdens of the federal and local government by:
Assisting law enforcement agencies in the apprehension and conviction of criminals, and recovery of stolen property and illegal narcotics; Helping motivate the public to cooperate with law enforcement agencies; Stimulating and encouraging the flow of information to, among, and between law enforcement agencies; Creating and circulating films, videos, sound tapes, and printed material about crime prevention and Monmouth County Crime Stoppers.
Monmouth County Crime Stoppers is supported by the following agencies: Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders, Monmouth County, Prosecutor's Office, Monmouth County Sheriff's Office, Monmouth County Police Chief's Association
Monmouth County Crime Stoppers provides the public direct and easy access to law enforcement, without having to identify themselves, by offering a toll-free telephone number, web tips on the Monmouth County Crime Stoppers website and text tips.
Tipsters remain anonymous and are eligible to receive a cash reward if the information given leads to the arrest and prosecution of a criminal suspect or fugitive.
