Fees are charged by a sliding scale, $20-$40, pay what you can afford! No income verification required.
Treatment is given in a quiet room with up to 5 other people relaxing in comfortable reclining chairs. Acupuncture points on the arms, legs and head are used. Most people find the community setting a powerful healing environment.

Most US acupuncturists treat patients one at a time on tables in private rooms. In Asia acupuncture is actually most often performed in a community setting. At Monterey Community Acupuncture we use comfortable reclining chairs in a large, peaceful room set up to accomodate up to 6 people. There is less talking involved in CA, we rely on a health history form and traditional diagnosis tools of looking at the tongue and taking the pulse. We may ask a few pertinent questions related to your health history forms.
