Welcome to Monticello Paint! We are a chalk/clay paint company offering "shabby chic" DIY'ers and distributors high quality, no VOC chalks paint.
Monticello Paint was born on the 4th of July, 2013. We chose the name Monticello Paint to celebrate the founding of the United States in general and Thomas Jefferson in particular. Jefferson, author of the Declaration of Independence and 3rd President, was also noted for his keen sense of aesthetics and eye for color. The names of our individual paints reflect the character traits that our Founding Fathers needed to fight for independence and mold a new nation -- traits we still need to be good people and good Americans.
