Fire Prevention Information and Public Education Resources

The MFD fire prevention program is committed to helping spread fire safety information by utilizing different venues to reach out to the public. Our programs include but are not limited to the following; fire station tours, fire safety talks, attending local safety events, fire extinguisher training, visiting day cares / schools / gatherings, fire prevention week puppet shows, story hours, community outreach, home fire safety visits and we have just added car seat inspections and instalations.
