The Mountain Rest Cafe moved to it’s new location by the Dollar General store at the junction Hwy 107 & 28. Your family will enjoy great country cooking

We are excited to announce the new location for the Mountain Rest Cafe. The cafe originally opened over 12 years ago by the Mountain Rest post office. It’s new location is right next to the Dollar General at the junction of Hwy 107 and Hwy 28 at 7057 Highlands HWY

The cafe has a reputation for excellent country cooking by Kim Wald and her staff. You will want to stop in for a Mountain burger or some hot fried chicken. On Sunday, after church, stop in for Sunday supper.

The restaurant is open Thursday through Sunday and is conveniently located to all of Oconee County’s favorite hikes with beautiful trails and waterfalls.

Join us for Saturday Breakfast from 7AM to 10PM. We are open for lunch Thursday thru Sunday from 11AM to 2PM and for Dinner Thurs thru Saturday from 5PM to 8:30PM.
We also do take out orders.
