CEO stands for Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities. We are a class that studies local businesses and listens to local business owning guest speakers.
The CEO program is overseen by Midland Institute for Entrepreneurship, and Mount Carmel's CEO class is overseen and funded by a local CEO board. The class is facilitated by Tim Raibley and Nicki Bates. It consists of 14 students have applied and been selected for the class. Students are juniors, seniors, and freshman in college from Edwards County High School, Grayville High School, Mount Carmel High Shcool, and Walbash Valley College. The students work through first semester to prepare for a class business that will kick off in second semester. Money made in this class business will be used to start up each student's individual business which will be created second semester as well.
