We exist to worship God through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, to equip God's people through Biblical training, and to proclaim the gospel to Yadkinville and the world.
Mount Zion Baptist Church was organized October 15, 1932, and the first small church building was built. The Phillips family gave the land, the Bruce family donated the lumber, Mary Dinkins Caudle paid for the roof, and the members donated all their time in the construction.
However, several years prior to the organization, a small group met in the homes and in the "Old Spillman School House" for worship. The last of the charter members are now deceased
The present building was erected in 1952 and a dedication service was held June 17, 1956. Eight Sunday school classrooms and restroom facilities were added in 1962.
During the 79 years, Rev. Emmit P. Caudle, Rev. Thomas D. Flynn, Rev. Irvin Wallace, and presently Rev. William E. Hale have served as pastors.
