I am very excited to be teaching at North Richland Middle School for the first time. Before coming to NRMS, I was a fourth grade teacher at Binion Elementary for one year and prior to that I taught fifth and sixth grade math and science for four years in Dallas ISD.
I am a native of the Dallas/Fort Worth area graduating from Flower Mound’s Marcus High School in 1989. I graduated from the University of North Texas in 1995 with a degree in History and Business Administration. During college, I studied at Disney University in Orlando, Florida, and traveled abroad to attend classes at the University of London in London, England. I earned a masters degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2010.
When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with my family at and around our home in Hurst. My beautiful wife, Holly, and I have a two-year-old daughter named Olivia and we are expecting another daughter named Julia in December.
