In 1976, Ralph Murphy introduced his unique method of preparing pan-fried chicken with the opening of Murph’s Gaslight in Bermuda Dunes. Since that time, Murph’s has become “Home of the Original Pan-Fried Chicken” and remains one of the most popular destinations in the Coachella Valley.

Since the mid-1980’s, John Skoby, Chef Martín Vega and Manager Yolanda Wright continued to operate Murph’s Gaslight in Ralph Murphy’s family-style tradition.

As Murph’s begins its 39th year of operation, successful restaurateur Joshua Rushlow and his experienced “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!” Murph’s remains committed to keeping your dining experience as pleasurable and satisfying as ever.
