The Museum of Friends is located in downtown Walsenburg, about 2 miles east of the first exit. Opened Tuesday through Saturday, from noon to 4 pm. MOf has a terrific contemporary art collection on the 2nd floor, and an open studio space on the 1 st floor right on Main and 6th.
The summer open studio is called "Where's Walsenburg?" a photographic expose on the people and unique flavor of our town and environ with visiting artist Zoe Childerley from London, England. Please visit: www.zoechilderley.wordpress.com for an update of the project.
