MusicMovestheBrain was developed by music educator/musician Maria Simeone, whose unique background in music & brain science has led to the creation of this one-of-a-kind program. As a leader in brain-based, arts-integrative education, Maria has held leadership roles with the top arts organizations in Orange County, California -- such as the Segerstrom Center for the Arts, Opera Pacific, Orange County High School of the Performing Arts and the Pacific Symphony. She holds a degree in Research Psychology and is published in the area of Cognition. Maria's passion for developing MusicMovestheBrain stems from her desire to provide learners of all ages with the unique opportunity to experience the creative process communally, as they discover their own innate brilliance
