My Brother Vinny Mohegan Park & Yorktown Head Start Valentine PJ Day! February 13, 2013 Event Gifts given to all 144 Mohegan Park Adult Home Residents and coordination of donation of PJ’s from Pajama Program for all 50 children enrolled in program for low income families. (Mohegan Lake, NY & Yorktown Event)

My Brother Vinny Animals Rescue Valentine Gifts – February, 2013 Event - We sponsor program to provide fleece blankets and chew toys to area animal rescues. My Brother Vinny provides funding and coordination with local youth programs such as Yorktown Girl Scouts and local CCD class. (SPCA of Westchester, Putnam SPCA)

My Brother Vinny Dance for Gold - March 2, 2013 - Kick off event for spring My Brother Vinny events. Zumba Dance, vendors and more! Light Lunch provided for all guests. (Yorktown Elks Club)

“My Brother Vinny Playtime with a Purpose” – a monthly FREE program for registrants at Gymboree Play & Music. We combine free play, arts, music and dance and also coordinate donation to animal rescues for every event we have. This is our charity purpose. Current registration days March 10, April 7, May 5 and June 9th. Programming will run annually Sept to June. (Jefferson Valley, NY )

Vincent Miritello Special Olympics Miles for Medals Walk – We co plan and organize an annual walk a thon to benefit the Special Olympics of the State of NY Hudson Valley Region. We raised $ 25,000 this past year for Special Olympics and hope to raise even more for this wonderful program. Next event 4/28/13, FDR Yorktown Heights, NY

My Brother Vinny Ice Cream Days at Mohegan Park – June to September we surprise the residents of Mohegan Park Adult Home with an ice cream truck on site and free ice cream to residents and staff at the facility! It’s a lot of love to all involved and this truly makes the residents happy and brings back the simpler time in life. (Mohegan Lake, NY)

My Brother Vinny Let’s Give Thanks Holiday Food & Coat Drive – Our collection period runs from October through December annually. With a one day collection day and party event held at the Yorktown Elks Club. Next party event is November 16, 2013. We spend months before and after event coordinating distribution of donated Food, Coats, Clothing and Shoes to various organizations, residents and emergency response services. Some beneficiaries have been Food Bank of Westchester, Westchester Coalition of Hungry & Homeless, St. Christopher’s Inn, CHOP Caring for the Homeless of Peekskill, Yorktown Head Start, Mohegan Park Adult Home. We have a donation day at Mohegan Park & Yorktown Head Start where we personally distribute clothing to all residents and the parents of the children in need at Head Start.

My Brother Vinny Park Holiday Gift Giving Day – We provide all residents with holiday gifts! All 144 residents get special holiday bags that are filled with such items as; shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, puzzle books, socks, gloves, mugs, pencils, pens, candy, lotion. (Mohegan Lake, NY)

So much more is planned and completed in the course of a day and year! This is a snapshot of our journey!
