We post photos & video of fires and accidents along with training. If this is not what you want to see do not like this page. We do nothing different than any other fire department of the news media. No personal information is included.
We will try and keep the community as up to date as possible on what is going on. Please be advised that we are not allowed to give out names or causes for fires, accidents, etc. due to legal reasons. Please do not get discouraged if we ignore the question "What caused the fire" or "Where they drinking and driving" etc. We are not trying to be rude but must follow the law as anyone else and are not allowed to give some information. Thank you for understanding.
Our department, along with the other 4 that run in Craig County, rely solely on donations. We are NOT funded by the State nor do we receive money from the county. We own our building, land, trucks and equipment. All this takes money. Fuel costs alone are outrageous. Without your donations and the (few) fundraisers we hold, our departments would not be able to serve you, the public. So please.. donate. No amount is too small.
