Established in 1977, NLA is the largest private Christian school in the east metro, serving 790+ students, 16 mo. - Grade 12, and their families.
New Life Academy of Woodbury is a non-denominational Christian school in the suburbs of St. Paul, Minnesota.
Decades of faith-filled tradition. The pursuit of continuous innovation. Passionate believers in education.
In 1977, Pastor Dick and Patti Wiens, along with a handful of other prayerful partners, started a church and a school. The nucleus of their vision was plain and simple: sharing the Word of God and the truth of the gospel. The motivation behind creating the academy was a brilliant plan to ensure a succession of disciples.
Today, the academy fulfills the same mission through traditional teaching of core subject matter while continually adapting to changes and trends in education. Embracing change and building on what we already know through ongoing teacher development is our commitment to your child(ren); a promise to meet the unique needs of today’s students.
By the grace of God, our community is a healthy body of believers experiencing a welcoming and loving environment, high quality education, and the non-denominational yet Christ-centered emphasis today’s families crave.
