The Niles Police Department services the Village of Niles in North Suburban Chicago.
The Niles Police Department, located at 7000 Touhy Avenue, provides 24-hour a day service and protection to Village residents by 53 sworn Officers, 36 Auxiliary Officers, 20 Community Service Officers, 5 Special Service Officers, 11 Civilians and 17 School Crossing Guards. The Department provides for the enforcement of federal, state, and local laws, the deterrence of crime, the apprehension of offenders, the recovery and return of property, and non-criminal service.
